Asiwaju S. K Onafowokan, OON
Chairman
Asiwaju S.K. Onafowokan is a seasoned administrator with over 50 years of corporate management experience. A former Deputy Chief Executive at Chellarams Plc, he currently chairs the Board of Coleman Technical Industries Limited. He is the immediate past President of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) and serves on the Boards of NACCIMA, NECA, and MAN. He also chairs several notable organizations. A proud native of Sagamu, Ogun State, he holds the prestigious title of Asiwaju of Remo Kingdom.
Mr. George Olutope Onafowokan FNSE
Managing Director/CEO
Mr. George Onafowokan is the Managing Director/CEO of Coleman Technical Industries Limited. An accountant by profession, he holds degrees in Accounting & Finance (Manchester Metropolitan University, UK) and PGD in Management & Information Systems (University of Salford, UK). Under his leadership, Coleman’s assets have grown from ₦50 million in 2002 to over ₦800 billion by 2024. He pioneered Nigeria’s first High Voltage XLPE cable plant and Fibre Optic Cable factory, positioning Coleman as a leading cable manufacturer in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Engr. Michael Olusegun Onafowokan FNSE
Executive Director (Production & Technical)
Engr. Michael Onafowokan holds an MEng in Chemical Engineering from Loughborough University, UK, and is an Associate Member of the Royal Institute of Chemical Engineers. He has led major expansions in Coleman’s production capacity and spearheaded the establishment of Nigeria’s first Fibre Optic Cable factory, advancing the company’s technical and production excellence.
Mr. Sanusi Ilori
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Sanusi Ilori is a Chartered Accountant and Fellow of ICAN with over 25 years of experience across diverse industries. He joined Coleman in 2013 as Chief Finance Officer and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the company’s operational efficiency and financial performance.
Engr. I. S Ogunbayo
Independent Director
Engr. Ibikunle Ogunbayo, a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers and past President of COREN, has over four decades of experience in engineering consultancy. He has overseen landmark projects including the National Stadium Abuja, Tinapa Resort, and Intercontinental Hotel Lagos. He is the Founder and Principal Partner of KOA Consultants Ltd and a renowned voice in Nigeria’s engineering community.
Folake Sanu
Independent Director
Folake Sanu is an accomplished finance professional with over 32 years of experience in banking, accounting, and auditing. She has served as Executive Director at Wema Bank Plc and as CFO and Chief Compliance Officer at Sterling Bank Plc. A Fellow of ICAN and member of CIBN, she is also an alumna of Harvard Business School, INSEAD, and London Business School.
